On The Nature of God
Branhamites believe a Godhead doctrine, that is to say: one God, present in three offices (or persons). They believe that God as YHWH created the heavens and the earth. They believe that God as YHWH made Man. They believe God as YHWH communed with Adam and Abraham. They believe God as YHWH, in the form of The Cloud, led the children of Israel personally out of slavery. They believe God as YHWH gave Isaiah his prophecy.
Jesus: Totally different from God
They believe God as Holy Spirit "overshadowed" Mary and created Jesus as a zygote. They believe that God as YHWH-Father led Jesus around. They believe that God as Holy Ghost became one with Jesus at his baptism. They believe that God as Holy Ghost left Jesus at the garden of Gethsemane. They believe that God as YHWH personally received Jesus into Heaven after his death and 3-night stint in hell (and subsequent 40 days on earth). They believe that God as Holy Ghost dwells in individuals today. They believe that they are God.In short, they believe 3 Gods: God-YHWH ("Father"), Jesus ("Son"), and Themselves ("Filled with the Holy Ghost").
On The Nature of Man
They believe that God created Man as a singular spirit. They believe that God, after an undisclosed period of time, created a single body for the single spirit. They believe that God then separated the spirt and made a second body to implant it in. They believe that only the first body was perfect and had perfect knowledge. They call the first human Adam and the second human Eve.The Original Sin
According to Branham, the Original Sin was Eve having sex with a human-like creature called the Serpent. They believe the Serpent had no soul. They believe the Serpent was possessed by Lucifer. They believe that every single person is damned because of it.Wait, Serpent Seed?
But wait, there's more. The Serpent was, for all intents and purposes, very much human. They believe Eve then had sex with Adam, and they believe that the result was twins: Cain and Abel. Abel, they believe, had a soul, but Cain did not. They hold that Cain married one of his sisters (since apparently there was only one Serpent) and all his descendants were soulless. And that Noah's son was a soulless "Serpent Seed", and that most of humanity is soulless animals.Yeah, don't ask.
On Rapture and Heaven
Their beliefs on Rapture can be boiled down to a few lines.> Unless you're a Branhamite, you do not go in The Rapture
They believe that even if you follow the bible, if you do not follow the teachings of William Branham, you won't make the rapture. Even Paul of Tarsus couldn't get raptured, because he didn't have the full revelation (*cough*) or rapturing faith (*cough*)
> Unless you're the very most serious Branhamite, you do not go in The Rapture
They believe that only the most serious Branhamites will go in The Rapture, and that others will miss it, even if there is no difference between a rapturee and "sleeping virgin". Seriously: they hold that only God can tell the difference. Rapturees and "didn't make it" would follow the same set of rules, act the same, and yet still not all go.
> Branhamites are returning from Heaven after a 3.5 Year Tribulation
The Rapture, they believe, starts The Tribulation. After The BrideTM is raptured, Moses and Elijah will return to bring Branhamism to Israel. Then California sinks, real life turns into The Purge, and it all ends with Russia nuking the world. Then...
> And then Team Branhamite will get to rule the Earth for 1000 years
God magically transforms the Earth, replacing it with a "pre-Fall" version. Then the folks from Heaven come down to rule Earth. Well, Only The BrideTM rules and has access to magic powers. Babies and "people who didn't get a chance" get resurrected and get to live out their natural lifespans. If they become a Branhamite, they get access to eternal life but not the magic powers.
> After a short uprising, only Christians will be left
Apparently being eternal slaves was a bad deal, so folks go up to New Jerusalem to protest. Of course, the protesters happen to be possessed by Lucifer. God-YHWH simply fries them to death, then resurrects them for one last hurrah...
> The BrideTM Is Judges at The White Throne
Then all the dead get resurrected for one last condemnation. Replaying every single person's life, The BrideTM gets to decide who goes to The Lake of Fire (spoiler: pretty much everybody).
